ABOUT L&H GRAND

Pianos with Soul.
Stories with Sound.

Living Artifacts

More Than Wood & Wire

At L&H Grand, we believe a piano is far more than wood, metal, and strings. [cite_start]Every instrument carries its own memory, personality, and voice — shaped by the hands that have played it and the places it has lived [cite: 18-19].

Our role is not simply to restore pianos, but to act as custodians of their stories. [cite_start]Each restoration honours the heritage of the instrument while ensuring it can inspire future generations [cite: 20-21].

Through careful restoration, flexible leasing, and a deep respect for craft, we invite people to experience pianos as unique voices that connect past and present.

A Piano's Journey

The Kaiser Jubilee Blüthner

Circa 1899. This magnificent instrument began its life in Leipzig, Germany. Acquired by a member of the German aristocracy, it graced the salons of Berlin's elite.

From smoky drawing rooms to private concert halls, this piano has silently witnessed eras of art, upheaval, and rebirth. After a complete restoration — new soundboard, new tuning plank, and full action rebuild — it now sings with the same warmth and clarity that captivated audiences over a hundred years ago.
